Frank and Phyllis moved into their new home and she told him bluntly, “You know, if it wasn’t for my money, we wouldn’t be here.”
When the house was fully furnished, she told him: “You know, if it wasn’t for my money, this furniture wouldn’t be here.”
Later, when the twenty-four inch colour television was delivered, Phyllis said, “You know, if it wasn’t for my money, this television wouldn’t be here.”
Frank looked up from his paper and replied: “You know, Phyllis, if it wasn’t for your money I wouldn’t be here!”
