Free Lollipops

A store was giving away free lollipops to all the children. But when one little boy asked if he could have two of them, the clerk said, “Sorry. Only one to a customer. But do you have a brother at home who might like one?”

The boy did not want to tell a lie, but he did want another lollipop. “No, I don’t have a brother at home,” he admitted, but then added hopefully, “my sister does, though, and I want one for him.”
