You fall, you rise, you make mistakes, you live, you learn. You’re human, not perfect. You’ve been hurt, but you’re alive. Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, and to chase the things you love. Sometimes there is sadness in our journey, but there is also lots of beauty. Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. Paraprosdokians

A paraprosdokian (from Greek, meaning "beyond" and "expectation") is a figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected in a way that causes the reader or listener to reframe or reinterpret the first part. It is frequently used for humorous or dramatic effect, sometimes producing an anticlimax. For this reason, it is extremely popular among comedians and satirists.
Some paraprosdokians not only change the meaning of an early phrase, but also play on the double meaning of a particular word, creating a syllepsis.

Trivia

Note: I haven’t tested these, so comment if any of these are bogus or not.

1. Get rid of unwanted hair anywhere! For I week, rub 2 teaspoon coffee grounds mixed with 1 teaspoon baking soda. The baking soda intensifies the compounds of the coffee breaking down the hair follicles at the root.

2. If your throat itches, scratch your ear. Doing so stimulates the nerves in your ear and create a reflex in the throat which causes a muscle spasm that kills the itchy feeling.

3. Homemade Face Mask: Bananas are great for oily skin. Mash up a banana with a teaspoon of honey and a couple of drops of lemon juice. Apply to your face and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing with a cool washcloth.
