Life

We must accept life for what it actually is – a challenge to our quality without which we should never know of what stuff we are made, or grow to our full stature.

Never make a mental list of the things you lack. Count your blessings instead. Make a note of everything you own or enjoy down to the last detail, and you will see that, all in all, life has been very good to you.

Make it a rule of life never to regret and never look back. We all live in suspense, from day to day, from hour to hour; in other words, we are the hero of our own story.

All of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.

If you do not take control of your life, you may wake up one day to find it has taken on a life of its own, and driven you where you do not want to be.

Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way.
