Proverbs, Maxims, Adages...

These age-old adages may seem like common sense, and therefore not worth the trouble knowing. But sometimes, in the hustle and bustle of life, we forgot the life-lessons, the wisdom these seemingly simple words convey, and ended up making the mistake these adages warned us about. To prevent that from happening, it is good that we should always bear these words of wisdom in mind, so that we are always on the alert and will not make too many ‘silly mistakes’ in our lives.

Some of them are quite humorous too.
