Torremolinos

What’s in Torremolinos? You get out of the underground train station and you are in the main square – the heart of the city. Surrounding the square are shops, eateries, hotels, clubs … very touristic … very busy.

The place is touted as a modern city - a place where the young, hip and trendy soak up the sun in the day and/or party all night. It does look clean and modern and has a touch of class about it, compared to Benalmadena. Of course, the prices are classier too. It has a vibrant night life. Clubs open late in the evening and close when the sun comes up. There are many food and beverage outlets.

And then there’s the beach, the eateries, and souvenir shops which cater to the passing tourists. The beach looks neat, polished and upmarket too.

The second flag on the left is a rainbow flag - living up to Torremolinos reputation of a modern city. It was quite breezy that day and the flags are all entangled.
