Reflection On Death

Death is the end of life. Life and Death are the two ends of the same process. All that lives must one day die. Everything that has a beginning has an end. Shocking as it may sound, as soon as one is born, one starts dying. The first breath is the beginning of death, and every moment of our life is a step towards the grave. All these might sound morbid. But they are facts of Life, to be understood and faced. No one can escape this process of life.

The best way to die is to go to bed and never wake up again. There will be no suffering, no fearing, and no waiting for Death to come. This is what everyone wishes. Unfortunately, our death is something we do not have a choice, or say in. We will never know when we are going to die or how we are going to die. We just have to accept what comes.

As men, we are all equal in the presence of death. Whether you are royalty, or the common people, whether you are rich or poor, good or bad, we are all equal in death.

Reflection on death would remind us that life is fragile.
