On Love

Love is an emotion which is part of the human build up. We are all capable of love. However, like all things in life, love changes with time. Love is never constant. Sometimes, it fades, sometimes it becomes stronger. No one can be wholeheartedly in love all the time.

However, there is such a thing called true love. True love requires commitment, faith, trust and loyalty, not chocolate, flowers and expensive gifts. You come to love not by finding the perfect person but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly. You don’t love someone because they’re perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they’re not.

There is no such thing as a perfect person. He or she might be perfect to you, but that is most probably because love has clouded your judgment. But to love someone and to stick by him in life, despite his or her imperfections, that is true love.
