This is likely a 'Red Valentine' or 'Lady Valentine' variety, known for its pink and green variegated leaves.
Aglaonema are slow-growing, ornamental houseplants. They prefer bright, diffused light but can tolerate lower light conditions. They don’t mind the soil being damp, but care should be taken not to overwater to prevent root rot. They are hardy plants and requires low maintenance.I didn’t know that Aglaonema could bloom. I thought they were favoured for their big colourful leaves. Therefore, when I saw buds on my aglaonema plant, I was surprised and at the same time curious to see what their blooms were like.
However, their blooms are quite insignificant as you can see from the following photos. This is another variety of aglaonema. Instead of red or pinkish shades, the leaves have white/silver shades. Fun Fact: According to 'feng shui', positive energy can come from plants like ‘Aglaonema' with its soft leaves and elegant shape. It is a sign of fortune and good luck. It is also considered an excellent air purifier that is shown to clean out formaldehyde and benzene from the air in your home and more. You can click on the picture for a better view.
