This is a nicely, recently restored row of shophouses in Chinatown.
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected business badly. The restriction of travels all over means that there are no tourists coming here. This is a blow to most of the businesses in Chinatown which depend on tourists spending. A few had indicated that if this goes on any longer, they might have to wind up their business.
A stall/shop selling durians. They fair a bit better, since their business caters to the locals as well.
A street artist sitting in front of a closed shop drawing the shophouse units from his position.
Looks like they have cleared the alleys of clutter and spruce them up with murals.
