Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemum is a flowering plant belonging to the Asteraceae family that mostly blossoms between August and November. The name is coined from the Greek word "chrysos", which means gold, and "anthos", which means flower.

There are thousands of varieties of chrysanthemums created through selective breeding. Chrysanthemums can be divided into categories based on the type of flower, defined by the arrangement of its individual flowers, called florets.

Besides being pretty to look at, chrysanthemums have other useful purposes. The petals can be used to brew tea to relieve a variety of physical symptoms, like sore throat, headaches, and to aid digestion. Additionally, their leaves and stems are used as ingredients in Chinese cuisine. The oil extracted from the flower is also used in aromatherapy and as a natural insecticide. - Source

Here are some chrysanthemums from the recent flower display in the Flower Dome. I wasn’t able to track all the names of the chrysanthemums on display. It was quite impossible. These are some that I managed to put a name to.
