Peace of Mind

I believe nothing is more important or valuable to a person than peace of mind. Having peace of mind is a great achievement. You see, peace of mind can only be achieved when we put in effort to cultivate our minds. Peace can only be found within. If you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else. Real peace means not to be affected by outside circumstances.

Inner peace, or peace of mind begins the moment you learn to let go, the moment when you do not allow another person or event to control your emotions. If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace. If you let go completely, you will have complete peace. Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the absence of inner conflict.
