Essentials to Happiness

We are all looking for the key to happiness, the way to happiness, the secret of happiness, the formula for happiness, the recipe for happiness, and even the art of happiness. Call it whatever you want, they all mean the same thing – that is, we are all looking for the thing, or things that make us happy.

What we don’t realize is that we are the ones in control of our happiness, not things nor anyone else. We have the power to choose and decide. The choices and decisions we make regarding our life directly influences the quality of our days. If you want to be happy, choose to be happy.

If there is anything you don’t like about yourself or your life, change it. And if you can’t change it, accept it, change the way you look at it. Sometimes, a change of mindset is all it takes to make you happy.

Personally, I feel that understanding, acceptance, letting go, and moving on are essentials to happiness. What do others think are essentials to happiness? Let’s have a look.

Kenfield Morley
