Daffodils
Daffodils typically feature a central trumpet surrounded by six petals, and traditional ones typically have a yellow trumpet and white petals. However, there are numerous variations in form and colour, some with single, double or multi-flowered forms in orange, pink, red, or bi-coloured. Not all daffodils emit a fragrance, though some have an appealing, delicate scent. Apart from being commonly used in garden beds and borders, they also make excellent cut flowers, and their cheery appearance lends itself to various meanings such as rebirth and new beginnings.
A charming dwarf daffodil variety renowned for its early spring blooms and compact size, Narcissus ‘Tete-a-Tete’ rises only to 15to 20 cam tall. It typically features one to three small buttercup yellow flowers, with long narrow trumpets and slightly reflexed petals per stem. This daffodil cultivar has bulbs which easily grow and can multiply and spread rapidly and easily over time, creating clusters of cheery blooms which can be grown in containers, window boxes, borders and rock gardens. All information are taken from the signboards at the flower display.
