That Time of the Year

It is that time of the year - the final festive season of the Year! In previous years, people would be busy buying and wrapping gifts, thinking and preparing food for the feast, planning which party to attend.

However, the festivities will be muted this year. And it should be. Better to be safe than risking your lives for the celebration. Celebrate within your own household, with your loved ones. Forget about the parties, or places where there are crowds. Life is short enough as it is. Do not squander it unnecessarily. There is always next year.

If you can restrain yourself, and forgo this year's celebration, there may be many more years of celebrations to come. If you are complacent, and think you are brave enough to risk it, you might live to regret this year's celebration. And if you still feel you don't want to miss out on this year's festivities, may the angels protect you.

In any case, if you are not feeling well, you should not go visiting. Spare a thought for others, if not for yourself.

Meanwhile, here are some Christmas trees, Christmas decorations put up by the malls.
