Fushia is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees. - Wikipedia
There are over 100s of species and thousands of varieties of Fushia flowers – a majority of them native to central and South America.
Fushias like cool temperatures and moist air, are adaptable to all kinds of soil as long as the soil drains well. They like filtered light but not heat.
They look good on hanging baskets. Their tear drop flower head, and pendant-shaped flowers – beautiful and delicate, remind me of ear-rings.
