Although it is called Dahlia Dreams, the exhibition is also during the Chinese New Year / Spring season. Hence, the flower display included some flowers that bloom in Spring. Among them are celosias, chrysanthemums, and cymbidiums...
At the display, one will also see lanterns, couplets, lions, pagodas, pavilions… things associated with the Chinese New Year, and are common in Chinese culture. You will also see many rabbits - this being the Year of the Rabbit.
Aesop’s story of the race of the Tortoise and the Hare was woven into the Dahlia Dreams exhibition.
A rabbit burrow. This is another show piece at the exit door. Like the one at the entrance, there was a stream of people waiting to take pictures.
