The unfortunate thing about these local Spanish restaurants is that the staff don’t speak very much English. We can make ourselves understood with a little Spanish, and they. a little English, but it is difficult to have a decent conversation, to develop a friendship. Still, my friends dine at the Mezquita once a fortnight, so there is an unspoken mutual appreciation – one for liking the place, and the other, thankful for the patronage.
This is the alleyway.
These are apartments on the side of the alley. They did a good job with their plants. Pollo Relleno. It is chicken stuffed with dates, bacon and cheese, served in a creamy mushroom sauce. It is very nice.Click on the photo to see the bigger picture.
