Arroyo de la Miel

Arroyo de la Miel is one of the three districts that make up the municipality of Benalmadena, along with Benalmádena Pueblo and Benalmádena Costa. One could say it is the town center of Benalmadena

These are some photos of Arroyo de la Miel taken while I was out and about.

This was about four in the afternoon. The place looks quiet because it was Siesta time. Most of the shops were closed.

This is the iconic 'Waiter of Arroyo de la Miel'. No one is sure of its history, or the story behind the statue. My guess is that it represents the many cafes and restaurants in the area.
