Facets of Life

Our lives might not have come with a manual, or an instruction booklet to teach us what is right, what is wrong, or how to live our lives. But if we are willing to listen to our elders, to learn from the sages and wise men before us, we will be able to get a pretty good start on life, avoiding all the portholes that are dotted along life’s journey.

Aphorisms, maxims, proverbs… these are the words of wisdom, of the sages, gurus, philosophers… the wise men before us who have been through life’s hard knocks. If we take time to examine their words, we would surely benefit from their wisdom.
