Spanish are home proud. Hedges are nicely trimmed, and their gardens neat and beautiful. They upkeep and maintain their premises so that the buildings look clean and new.
There is another reason why all the apartment buildings in the photos look new and clean. This is because they have been recently cleaned, or painted. What happened was, there was a huge sandstorm from the Sahara which covered Malaga in red. See the video to understand the extent of the sandstorm.
I guess after such a serious sand storm, there were a lot of cleaning up to do. According to my friend, Roger, the Calima covered the whole place with fine red sand. That made the road slippery and dangerous for drivers as well as pedestrians. The authorities had to hose down and clean every street, and every corner.
People clean up their apartments as best as they can. Building owners hose down the building or took the opportunity to give it a new coat of paint. That is why all the buildings and apartments look like they have been given a new coat of paint.
Anyway, here are some nice looking apartments with designs pleasing to the eye. See if you agree with me.
