Night Views From The Balcony

Sitting out on the balcony in the evenings, looking out at the beautiful view of the lights on the pueblo – the hillside villages, I can’t help noticing how beautiful and peaceful the place is. It has a dreamy feel to it.

Inevitably, I will take out my camera to take a shot of the place – I guess, to try to capture the moment, even though I had already taken dozens of the same scene. It is so pleasant to sit out here and enjoy a drink or two, while watching the moon and the stars. Depending on the direction of the wind, the sky can be busy with airplanes arriving and leaving.

This is a quiet part of town, so there are not a lot of activity on the streets. Looking over the balcony, I see people walking their dogs, sometimes after midnight.

Up on the hillside, I see cars travelling at night on the highway. In the summer months, I see cable cars going up the hill. They operate until 11pm.

Occasionally, a dog would bark. That would start off a tirade of barks. However, all is well after they stopped barking. What really annoys me are the noisy motor bikes. Luckily, since this is the quiet park of town, there aren’t that many of them.
