Jacaranda Trees

Jacaranda mimosifolia, also known as blue Jacaranda trees, bloom from late April till June. They are quite a sight to behold when the whole tree is covered in blooms.

However, not all Jacaranda trees have flowers that bloom together. So, not all trees would be covered in blooms. That is why you can still see jacaranda flowers as late as July.

This is the iconic Jacaranda tree in the Arroyo town center. The photos of the tree in full bloom were courtesy of my friend Roger.

This was what was left of the blooms when I arrived in mid June. The tree had begun to grow leaves again.
Other jacaranda trees in the area. The bloom season is over, but you can still see little blooms here and there.
