Gazanias, aka Treasure Flowers

Gazanias, sometimes called treasure flowers, are a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. They produce large, daisy-like composite flower heads in brilliant shades of yellow and orange, over a long period in summer.

Gazanias are grown for the brilliant colour of their flower heads which appear in the late spring and are often in bloom throughout the summer into autumn. They might halt flowering in extreme summer heat, but will often resume its vivid display with the onset of fall. The foliage is low-lying, making it suitable for ornate ground cover or vibrant displays in containers and baskets. - Wikipedia

I love these colourful aster shaped flowers. The colours are ‘rich and sweet’. These are from the Flower dome.
