Snippets of Wisdom

Sometimes, the best wisdom and deepest lessons in life come from a few simple words. You would be familiar with some of these proverbs, axioms, maxims... If not, it is good to acquaint yourself with a few of these words of wisdom. Learn the lessons therein. Later on, you can pepper your conversations with them to impress your friends. Some of sayings are very profound, even though you might not realise at first.
