Spectra – A Light and Water Show

‘Spectra’ is a nightly light and water show at the Marina bay event plaza. From Sundays to Thursdays, there are two shows nightly – at 8pm and 9pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is an extra show at 10pm. Each show is 15 minutes long, and the nightly shows are free and open to all.
This nightly extravaganza is a symphony of illumination that has become Southeast Asia’s largest light show display. Spectra is now a world-class attraction. Anchored by a 12-metre high laminated glass prism that symbolises the heartbeat of the show, varying fountain techniques cause water to dance across the space and a screen of mist creates a projector where light plays out the show’s four-part story. The show is definitely worth watching. The view from the Marina promenade is also quite breath-taking with all the lights from the Central Business District area. It is pleasant and wonderful to take a stroll along the promenade in the evening, taking in the lights and soaking in the stunning atmosphere.
Here’s a short clip of the show. πŸ‘‰ Video
