Don’t pass on the opportunity to make friends. We all need friends. Surround yourself with friends from different backgrounds and different age groups! In this way, there is always at least one who will understand, inspire, and give your spirits a lift in your time of need. A friend that motivates you is a blessing.
Sometimes a friend is never known until needed. Sometimes, the stranger who comes to our aid becomes a lifelong friend.
It is good to reflect that a stranger may not always be a stranger. Strangers can become best friends just as easily as best friends can become ‘someone whom we used to know.’

What sweetness is left in life, if you take away friendship? Robbing life of friendship is like robbing the world of the sun. A true friend is more to be esteemed than kinsfolk. - Marcus Tullius Cicero
Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together. - Woodrow Wilson
Friendship is a serious affection; the most sublime of all affections, because it is founded on principle, and cemented by time. - Mary Wollstonecraft
Friendship is the perfection of love, and superior to love; it is love purified, exalted, proved by experience and a consent of minds. - Samuel Richardson
Friendship has been called the sweetener of life. It is a compound made up of truth and kindness, prudence and piety. - John Thornton
Nothing so fortifies a friendship as a belief on the part of one friend that he is superior to the other. - Honoré de Balzac
This is sad, but true. But I guess if both parties feel the same, and are content with the thought, and a friendship is built on that, then there is no harm.
