Succulent Garden

The Succulent Garden is one of eight other gardens in the Flower Dome in the Gardens by the Bay. This is where you find desert plants, and succulents belonging to families such as Cacti, Aloes and Crassulas. And you do that in comfort, without having to venture into the desert.

Here are a few of the specimens from the succulent garden. Unfortunately, I do not know their names.

Remember, all cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti. This is Golden Barrel Cactus or scientifically known as Echinocactus grusonii

Look at this beauty. But I would caution you to not go too near it. Those thorns look deadly.
The Sculpture is called Kei-Chan. It is by Yayoi Kusama - Japanese painter, performance, and installation artist. Exactly why is that sculpture in the midst of a succulent garden, I am not sure.
And isn’t that Alice? And a couple of characters from the Wonderland? What big mushrooms.
I like these benches. They are really solid wood.
