The Waiter of Arroyo de la Miel

"The Waiter of Arroyo de la Miel" is an installation in the town center of Arroyo de la Miel. It’s the sculptures of a waiter, a table and a chair. It is a favourite spot for tourists and photographers to take photos. I think the installation is synonymous with Arroyo de la Miel. Anyone who has been to Arroyo de la Miel will immediately recognize or remember this installation.

No one is sure of the story of its being there. But, if I have to make a guess, it would be that the installation signifies the beginning of a stretch of eateries on what is known as the high street of Arroyo de la Miel.

If you look closely at the photos, you will see a pigeon waiting to be served.
