Orchid Extravaganza III

“Orchids have been present here in South East Asia for thousands of years, and their discovery predates recorded history. They are an integral part of the region’s culture, traditions, and biodiversity.

“Botanists and explorers have been cataloging and studying orchids found in South East Asia, and the region continues to be a hot-spot for orchid diversity, with ongoing research and discoveries of new species and variations.” - Information from the exhibition.

The exhibition, held at the Flower Dome in the Gardens by the Bay is on until the 17th of September. If you are in Singapore, you might want to go and have a look. Admission charge applies - $12 for adults, $8 for 60 years and above, and $8 for children 3-12 years old.
