After a round of shopping – the first round, we decided to have something to eat as it was lunch time. If you have ever been in a situation where eight people had to make a decision on where to eat and what to eat, you will understand how hard it was that we finally decided upon the Teppanyaki restaurant.
Teppanyaki (teppan-yaki), is a post-World War II style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The word teppanyaki is derived from ‘teppan’, the metal plate on which it is cooked, and ‘yaki’, which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried. In Japan, teppanyaki refers to dishes cooked using a ‘teppan’, including steak, shrimp, okonomiyaki, yakisoba and monjayaki. Teppan are typically propane-heated, flat-surfaced, and are widely used to cook food in front of guests at restaurants. - Wikipedia
Yes, we could have gone and had our lunch separately, but somehow, we decided to have lunch together. Anyway, we all had Teppanyaki for lunch.
I had the chicken set meal. The set consists of chicken, vegetables, soup and rice. It was good.Click on the photo to see the bigger picture.
