Callistephus Chinensis

They look a bit like chrysanthemums. But they are actually Callistephus Chinensis.

Common names for the Callistephus Chinensis include China aster and annual aster. There are many cultivars available in a wide range of colours. The blooms are vibrant and daisy-like. Hence, they are very popular and make them a favourite choice for ornamental gardens.

“What this old world needs is more bouquets handed around to folks when they are alive and kicking. Flowers don’t do a dead one much good.” - Robert Elliott Gonzales
