Duranta Cultivar

There are quite a few of these plants along my walk route. They have attractive purple flowers – dark purple with white edge. They bloom all year long and its flowers are visited by butterflies. Google lens identiffied them as Duranta Cultivar.

Duranta Cultivar is a species of flowering shrub in the verbena family. This fast-growing, low maintenance species are commonly cultivated as hedges and ornamental plants. They may be planted in the ground or in large containers, and is suitable for streetscapes and parks. They propagate by seed or stem cuttings. They grow best in full sun, semi-shade.
