Sterculia Lanceolata

Sterculia lanceolata is a tree species, belonging to the genus Sterculia and the family Malvaceae. Other than this, there is not a lot of information on this plant.

From far, the red capsules look like flowers. It was only when I went near the tree that I realized they were actually pods.
