Marina Bay

Singapore’s Marina Bay is one of the largest freshwater city reservoirs in the world. Located in the central area of Singapore, the Marina Bay, is a 360 hectare extension to the adjacent Central Business District. It is also the new downtown of Singapore – a mix of uses for this area, including commercial, residential, hotel and entertainment, built on reclaimed land.

The Marina Bay area is one of Singapore’s top tourist attractions. There are picturesque scenes of unique buildings and architecture. It is a photographer’s delight. Photographers look and wait for an opportunity for a good spot to take photographs. Cyclists, joggers, and skateboarders share the space with locals and tourists taking in the sights.

In the evening, when the lights come on, the Marina Bay is transformed. Lights and colours from the buildings and the surrounding areas will take your breath away. The whole marina bay is very busy at this time of the day. With such a lovely scene and vibrant atmosphere, who wouldn’t want to be a part of it.

Here are some photos I took last week when I was in the area. The photos don’t do the place justice.
