The View From The Balcony

This is the view from Roger’s balcony. In the foreground is the neighbourhood and beyond is one of the many mountain ranges in Spain, and also Mount Calamorro on the extreme right.

Mount Calamorro is also a tourist attraction. It takes about 15 minutes in the cable car to go up there.

“The summit of the Calamorro mountain offers one of the best panoramic views of the Costa del Sol – on a clear day it’s possible to see around 150km in either direction, from Gibraltar in the west to the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Granada province to the east! - Source

In Summer, the cable car operates until midnight. The view at night will no doubt be very different from that in the day. But I am sure it will be just as beautiful with the lights in the distance.

The balcony is also where we have our dinners – a leisurely meal at the end of the day as we watch the sun goes down.
