Flora And Fauna On The Trail

Here are more pictures of the flora and Fauna from my recent exploration of the 👉 The Rail Corridor. I did only a small stretch of the trail. It is a nice trail, and definitely worth exploring more. Something to do when the weather is nice.
The Rail Corridor, or Green Corridor is a popular trail with hikers, joggers, walkers, bikers, and anyone who craves for a bit of nature. The rail corridor is also a part of the rich heritage of Singapore.

I picked a weekday in the afternoon to avoid the crowd. Still there were more people about than I expected. Maybe they were thinking the same thing.

I came upon this monitor lizard by the side of the road.
There was a rustle in the under-bush and another came chasing after it. I am glad it was chasing me.
There are two birds in the trees. See if you can spot them.
A plant from the ginger plant family – if I am not mistaken.
A plant with bright coloured bracts to help attract the insects, butterflies and birds.
I have no idea what this fruit, or plant is.
Beautiful ferns. Plenty of them in the wild.
And this was where I ended my exploration of the trail. I plan to start from this point in my next exploration.
