Shadows

Don't depend on anyone too much. Even your shadow leaves when it's dark. - Anonymous

The first picture shows shadows on the wall cast by the afternoon sun on a plant.

The rest of the photos are of shadows of plants on my walk route. I see these shadows almost every day, but never thought much of them until I started taking part in the Shadow Hunter contest. And I wasn’t even serious about winning or for the prize. It’s for like it’s a topic that I can have plenty of materials for.

Anyway, these shadows seem to have taken on a new meaning. I am beginning to appreciate them like I appreciate the plants on the walk route when I started blogging about them. There seem to be a connection. Connection with a shadow? That sounds mighty weird, even to me. Maybe I am losing my marbles as I get older.

While on the topics of shadows, here’s - Shadow Of My Mind by Vernon Oxford
