Landmark and Attractions on the Benalmadena Costa

This is Castillo de Bil-Bil, or Castle of Bil-Bil – an iconic landmark on the Benalmadena Costa. It is an Arab style construction which has a lot of Muslim inspiration, built in 1927 by a wealthy family. In 1980, the City Council of Benalmadena acquired it for the cultural facility of the city. Now, it is basically a social and cultural center, a venue for exhibitions, concerts, conferences etc..
Torre Bermeja watchtower. This is a historic watchtower in neglect. It will be renovated and it will become the new 'emblem' of Benalmádena port. Together with two other towers located in the town, they are declared Assets of Cultural Interest (BIC) by the regional government. Read about it 👉 HERE
Opposite the Torre Bermeja watchtower is the Sea Life Benalmadena – an aquarium.
The Malaga Ferris Wheel. Also known as the Noria Mirador Princess, it is a 70 meter-high observation wheel located beside the Benalmadena Marina. “The attraction offers breathtaking panoramic views up to 30 kilometers when the visibility is good.”
And then there is the Benalmadena Puerto Marina which rates amongst the best in the world. You can hire a boat to go out to sea to watch the dolphins, or go on a cruise.
So, the Benalmadena Costa has quite a few other things to offer besides the beach.
