The parable and the concluding text says it all.
“The whole process of nature is an integrated process of immense complexity, and it's really impossible to tell whether anything that happens in it is good or bad — because you never know what will be the consequence of the misfortune; or, you never know what will be the consequences of good fortune.” - Alan Watts
And such is life. When something happens in our lives, we can never be absolutely sure whether that is good or bad. What we thought was a ‘stroke of luck’ might end up to be the worst thing that could have happened. And what we thought was calamity could also be a blessing in disguise.
In life, things happen, and life goes on. Live your life and accept all that happened. The good, the bad, the ugly. Maybe these things happened for a reason, or no reason. Just accept them as part of life’s happenings.
