Xanthostemon Chrysanthus

Xanthostemon chrysanthus is also known as golden penda, or first love. They are perennials. Sometimes the whole tree blooms, and other times, there is only partial blooms.
The birds and the bees, and butterflies love the flowers. There were quite a few bees buzzing around. I managed to capture one busy working. Can you see it? It’s right at the top center of the picture.
A close up of the trees.
These are viewed from my apartment. It’s unfortunate that the sun was so strong. It paled the yellow flowers such that the contrast between the rich yellow colour of the flowers and the dark green leaves didn’t show up in the photos. Quite an impressive sight, really.
